FERRIS PROVES IDEAL SOLUTION FOR CARAVAN PARK

When you live and work in a remote, rural location, it can be tricky to access the support and facilities you need for your business.

When Sarah Emerson from Twin Rivers Holiday Park near Welshpool was seeking a new commercial-grade mower for maintaining grass around the site, she contacted several groundcare machinery brands, all of whom were either unable to help or unwilling to visit her rural site within the timescale she needed.

However, upon contacting the team at Machinery Imports to enquire about a Ferris mower, Sarah was pleased to not only speak to an industry expert who could explain the brand in great depth but also was prepared to visit her site to provide a hands-on demonstration at a time that suited her.

Area Sales Manager Stuart Winwood travelled across England and into rural Wales to the Twin Rivers Holiday Park, located just 5 miles from the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. Stuart spent the day with Sarah, showcasing a number of Ferris ride-on mowers which Sarah was able to use for herself and experience the speed and efficiency of a Ferris on her own site.

Manoeuvring around obstacles, crossing flat and uneven terrain quickly and comfortably, and leaving a fine clipping of grass throughout the public sites around the site – Sarah was so impressed by the performance of the mowers that she purchased a Ferris IS2600Z from Stuart there and then.

With a Stage V compliant diesel engine, all-round patented suspension system and 52″ or 61″ high-performance cutting deck, the IS2600Z makes light work of grounds maintenance across flat and rugged ground, with terrain-tracking for a quality cut finish and comfortable operator platform which boasts <2.5 HAVs and <0.5 WBV.
