Movie enthusiast Tom moves to become Kress technical specialist

To aid the growth of our all-electric range of Kress robotic mowers, power tools and equipment; Tom Marshall moves into the new role of Kress Product Support Specialist.

We caught up with Tom as he travelled to meet a customer; to ask about his new role focusing solely on the robotic brand Kress. He told us “I just feel that robotics are the future. People want to spend time enjoying their gardens rather than having to work in them and a robot does so much; it really makes a big difference”.

“Kress are up and coming in both electric power tools and mowing robotics. The technology for battery based tools and the larger robotic mowers is the most advanced in the market and that makes them really reliable. For example, with other mowing robots, they will have to pause when they lose satellite connection, which can happen when they mow under a tree or even on a cloudy day; but Kress robots work regardless of the weather and under cover as they don’t need a satellite connection”.

Tom’s new role will involve the promotion of the full Kress range of products, including robotic mowers and electric hand tools. Also the support, set up and installation of the Kress range for both commercial and domestic customers. He told us “We always advise customers to book us to install a robot. We have the training to get it working as the manufacturer recommends. Once you have your machine installed, it does the job without you having to worry”. Tom is available to install Kress units to cover just a few square meters in a small garden to the many hectares of a country estate or golf course. In his spare time, you might see Tom at a cinema (he is an avid film buff) or building Lego sets, particularly DC varieties.
