Aftersales Support Update from Palfinger UK – 27th March 2020


During this challenging period, our top priority is the safety and well-being of our staff, customers and the wider community. To this end, we are following advice and recommendations from the Government, Public Health England and the World Health Organisation on all developments.

Palfinger UK fully appreciate that this is an extremely challenging time for everyone in the lorry loader sector, so please know that we share your concern and we are here to provide help and support in any way that we can.

We have invested heavily in the latest technology and telephony systems and have strong business continuity plans in place; that will enable us to continue to support our customers and play our major part in keeping the UK running – regardless of the disruption.

Our Service and Parts control centres, main Parts facility and courier service remain fully operational and our nationwide network of Field Service Engineers, will continue to support essential services throughout the UK.  In line with the Government’s guidelines we will prioritise Compliance events, VOR breakdowns and safety related defects.

Important note: The safety and well-being of our staff is of the utmost importance to us. To minimise the risk to our mobile workforce, your staff, the wider community and to comply with Government guidelines on social distancing we are implementing additional mandatory site safety control measures when attending customer sites.  Further details are available on request.

Update from Palfinger UK – 24th March 2020


Following the Government instructions last night, it is with great reluctance that we must let you know we are temporarily suspending production at all Palfinger UK sites for an initial period of 3 weeks.

We will retain a small skeleton staff on-site to provide information, to support essential services, and take care of other logistical considerations.

Our Service and Parts functions will continue to the highest possible extent and will be driven by customer demand and requirements. Please note priority will be given to VOR and compliance events.
