Our business is open to customers and we remain sensitive to the ongoing national situation and regional requirements whilst working in line with the Government guidelines at all times across our business.
We are continuing to apply social distancing measures within our teams and with customers, enhanced cleaning routines, home working where possible and customer visits by appointment only. Our sales and service functions are fully operational and our teams are on hand to help you with all your requirements.
All these measures remain in place to support the safety of our staff, suppliers and you, our valued customers.

In T H WHITE Energy, Fire & Security, our workforce are designated key workers providing essential support of fire and security systems to business and residential properties, so our teams have remained operational throughout the pandemic with only a small number on furlough leave.
Our Engineers have been issued with appropriate PPE and are actively continuing to support fire and security emergencies such as system failures, faults and break-ins. Our Sales Representatives continue to work from home and are contactable by telephone (mobile) and email. They will only visit customers by prior appointment employing strict social distancing practices. We still have a healthy stock of parts and components for servicing, upgrades and installs and are in continual discussions with our wholesalers, providing direct customer deliveries where needed. The remainder of our departments are still operating remotely to keep everyone safe but with the partial lifting of restrictions we have re-opened our branches in line with safe working and social distancing. T H WHITE Energy, Fire & Security has been trading for over 25 years through volatile economic times with changing grant and subsidies shaping the sector. Whilst the Coronavirus is by far the most extreme threat we have experienced, we are confident we will endure it and continue to help customers make buildings greener, safer and more efficient for generations. Amidst the strain of the personal lockdown we are all facing, there is a similar spirit of communities pulling together and following official advice to get us through this new reality.
We are applying all government guidelines. Many of our workforce are designated key workers providing essential support of fire and security systems to business and residential properties. As such, our teams remain in place to serve you. We are open for business with the majority of our functions operating remotely and in some areas a reduced or rotating workforce to keep everyone safe. We would like to reassure all our customers that we are taking every step possible to limit the spread of the virus. Like others we are employing stringent hygiene practices and social distancing. We are also making use of available technology such as video calls, web live link as well as phone and emails to reduce unnecessary contact. Undoubtedly, we will face staff shortages due to self-isolation and sickness, however we have prepared for this, and hope to remain open throughout. We have a healthy stock of parts and components for servicing, upgrades and installs and we are in constant discussions with our wholesalers – many of whom are facilitating direct customer deliveries to ensure continued supply.
From today (25th March) we have implemented the following controls:
- Our Engineers remain operational as key workers. They continue to attend fire and security emergencies such as system failures, faults or break-ins.
- All engineers have been issued with appropriate PPE.
- All visits will be risk-assessed to determine need and safety.
Sales & Administration Staff
- Our Sales Representatives are now working from home and are contactable by telephone (mobile) and email. They will only visit customers by prior appointment employing strict social distancing practices.
- Our branches are closed to the public with a reduced essential staff rota on-site
- Customers are requested to make enquiries by telephone or via website forms. We can connect to you via web link if needed.
We will do everything we can to support our customers throughout this challenging time, however your cooperation and understanding is appreciated. As a reminder if you or a member of your household is showing symptoms, please notify us in advance of a visit to your home/place of business so that we can determine the appropriate course of action to take.
