Service Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join the construction & estate machinery service team at our depot in Marlborough. This role provides service support to all internal and external customers, and involves dealing with them in person, by phone and other e-communications.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (overtime available as required)

Key duties will include:

  • Taking service calls and distributing workload efficiently to the team
  • Providing timely updates to customers on progress and if any additional work is required
  • Providing service quotes or maintenance contracts in a timely manner
  • Ensuring WIP is kept to or below target
  • Managing the LOLER scheme for the depot including contacting customers before their certificates expire
  • Ensuring the Training and Health & Safety records are kept updated for the Workshop
  • Assisting the Service Manager with administrative tasks and taking calls as required
  • Being part of a working rota for seasonal customer support

The ideal applicant:

  • You will be a team player
  • You will be a good communicator
  • You will be IT literate, and possess good numeracy and literacy skills
  • You will show good financial awareness and commercial understanding
  • You will be flexible and able to quickly change between task or situation
  • You will be highly organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of Construction or Agriculture would be an advantage
  • Full UK Driving Licence
