Parts Warehouse Controller

Our Crane division are recruiting for a Parts Warehouse Controller to join the team based in Devizes. Reporting to the Parts Manager, this role is responsible for receiving and despatching parts, managing warehouse parts locations, and replenishing the Palfinger UK mobile engineer van stocks.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30am-5pm, Friday 7:30am- 4:30pm or Monday – Thursday 8am-5:30pm, Friday 8am-5pm

Key duties will include:

  • Checking incoming parts and storing appropriately
  • Picking parts, including depot transfers, and preparing for despatch
  • Picking field service engineer van stocks, packing and despatching
  • Assisting with annual parts stock take
  • Carrying out forklift truck inspections
  • Collecting and delivering parts when required
  • Other ad hoc parts department duties as required by management

The ideal applicant:

  • You will be self-motivated
  • You will possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external customers
  • You will be well organised and able to act in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring all tasks are achieved within agreed timescales
  • You will be IT literate with working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Forklift Licence desirable
