Fire Alarm Systems

T H White offers a design, installation and maintenance service for both conventional and analogue addressable fire alarm systems, meeting all current British and European Standards.

24-hour monitoring of fire alarm systems can include Redcare, which provides automatic response in the event of fire alarm activation. This facility is linked to our central station which advises the relevant fire authority.

When we instal a fire alarm system any CAD drawings produced and other detailed system records are kept both on site and at our offices for added security.

Project management to CDM requirements is provided where large systems are installed. The installation can be carried out either by our own teams, or by the customer's own electrical contracting company on a supply and commission basis.

Analogue addressable systems can provide individual point desription and sensitivity adjustyment. They can also be linked to a PC network to provide an immediate, graphical indication of the fire location.

We can supply and fit the latest smoke and heat detection devices, including Bosch flush smoke detectors which are practically invisible once installed in the ceiling. Additionally, optical smoke/heat combined sensors can be programmed for different forms of detection at different times of the day.
