| T H White Drum Recovery Scheme | ||
| New legislation which came into force on 15th May 2006 ended the right of farmers to dispose of waste in traditional ways. This has resulted in many farms accumulating large numbers of empty chemical drums which need to be disposed of. In the past, these could be burnt, or sometimes buried, but that is no longer allowed. The T H White Drum Recovery Scheme is simplicity itself. As fresh drums of dairy chemicals are delivered, the T H White dairy van takes away an equal number of empty drums, all for a nominal annual charge. For an average farm, the cost of participating in the T H White Drum Recovery Scheme is around £70 - £150 a year. To find out more, call Adrian Moore on |
