Current work at this farm near Swindon is a typical example of what we are frequently called upon to do. T H White Installation has regularly been entrusted with the upgrading and servicing of their grain drying and storage plant. Including updating the storage capability with the addition of a new 20 tonne per hour continuous flow drier and associated handling equipment. When the opportunity arose to develop a new plant on a greenfield site, T H White Installation was an ideal choice to help with the planning approvals and to oversee and undertake the work.
One of the criteria was the need to integrate as much of the existing plant as possible whilst retaining the ability to adapt and expand the grain storage capacity in the future. A decision was made, therefore, to extend the pre-drying silos as well as the grain drier in order to increase its rated throughput to 30 tonne per hour.
