The Jacobsen equipment includes an LF 3800 fairway mower; an HR 4600 for the semi-rough, an AR3 for greens and tees surrounds; a Greens King IV with tee units; a G-Plex III ride on greens triplex and a Groom Master bunker rake. Completing the line up is a SP1530 trailed top dresser manufactured by Turfco, of Minneapolis USA, and marketed in the UK by Ransomes Jacobsen.

Hamptworth Golf Club near Southampton has recently changed its course maintenance equipment and taken a fleet of Ransomes Jacobsen machines from local dealer, T H White Ltd of Reading.

Set in over 200 acres of rolling parkland with extensive areas of woodland, the complex includes an 18-hole 7,000 yard championship-style golf course, four all weather tennis courts, two international standard croquet lawns and a large golf practice area. Tim Facer has been Hamptworth’s Course Manager for over 10 years and works very closely with Mark Lawrence, one of the directors of the club, who is responsible for the day-to-day management.
