“Their parts service is exceptional, they hold comprehensive stocks of genuine parts within the group and if they don’t have it on the shelves, Ransomes Jacobsen and Wiedenmann despatch direct to us from their head offices in Ipswich and Glasgow respectively, normally on a next day delivery.

“As the service centre for the other clubs, Graham, our mechanic is often out during the season servicing their machines and they come back here for winter overhaul. Downtime is our worst enemy, that’s why parts support is so important.

“T H White bends over backwards to provide after sales excellence. A dealer’s reputation is everything and after 40 years in this business I believe they are undoubtedly the best dealer I have dealt with.

 “One other point; their area representative, Alun Wright, has a wealth of experience and his product knowledge, across all the manufacturers’ equipment, is second to none. His advice has been invaluable over the years.”

Allan Collis is course manager at Castle Royle Golf and Country Club, near Reading. Castle Royle is one of the 11 clubs managed by The Club Company and Allan is the co-ordinator for the group’s other clubs in the area, Mapledurham and Meryck Park together with Nizel’s Golf Club in Kent and Chartham Park in Sussex.
